Try this—–Yahoo doesn’t say that it will work “specifically” with Vista—-but on the other hand, they don’t say it won’t, either.
It might be worth a try.
This link from Yahoo gives instructions for making Yahoo the default. Messenger no longer works for that purpose–but you’ll have to download their “latest” toolbar (link is included on the page).
